Made to Measure

Light/Sound Installation

By approaching the exhibited objects or otherwise walking through the room the visitor would activate 15 motion sensors mounted on the ceiling triggering loops on 8 different speakers and switching/flickering of 5 neon tubes.
Depending on the actions of the visitors different soundscapes and lighting situations would emerge.
A custom software interface was developed to visualize and rearrange connections between sensors, loops and speakers, as well as lighting to be able to efficiently design the environment together with the other artists.
